Navigating Prop Firm Compliance: The Gideon V5.5.2 Integration Update
As algorithmic trading becomes more prevalent, proprietary trading firms are rapidly updating their terms of service. Some are embracing automation, while others are aggressively banning it. To ensure your funded accounts and payouts remain fully protected, Titan Trading FinTech has released the Gideon V5.5.2 update.
This specific release focuses entirely on expanding our internal risk matrix to natively support the specific rules, account tiers, and compliance requirements of automation-friendly prop firms.
The New Tier75K Profile
To bridge the gap between the 50K and 100K challenges, Gideon V5.5.2 introduces a fully mapped Tier75K profile to the risk matrix. This tier comes hardcoded with industry-standard parameters for this specific account size:
- Profit Target: $4,500
- Trailing Drawdown: $2,500
- Maximum Position Size: 9 Contracts
Bot-Friendly Prop Firm Integrations
We have hardwired Gideon to automatically respect the unique payout and execution rules of the industry's most algorithmic-friendly firms.
- Bulenox (The 40% Consistency Rule): Bulenox explicitly permits automated trading, but they require that no single trading day accounts for more than 40% of your total profit balance prior to a withdrawal. Gideon V5.5.2 completely automates your compliance here. By setting Gideon’s Eval Consistency Cap to 38%, the engine will automatically lock down and flatten your position just before you mathematically violate their payout rule, securing your withdrawal eligibility.
- Tradeify (The Minimum Hold Time): Tradeify allows automated systems but implements a strict filter against latency arbitrage: over 50% of your trades and profits must come from positions held longer than 10 seconds. Because Gideon executes on macro-reversals and relies on the 1R Dynamic Step-Trail rather than high-frequency tick scalping, it naturally clears this minimum hold time. Additionally, Tradeify’s specific drawdown limits (such as their unique $3,500 limit on the 100K tier) are now hardcoded into the Gideon matrix.
- Lucid Trading & MyFundedFutures: Both of these firms explicitly permit algorithmic trading without requiring prior code submission or pre-approval. Their specific account metrics and evaluation targets are fully mapped and ready to trade in the V5.5.2 UI.
⚠️ Critical Compliance Advisory: Take Profit Trader
While the Tier75K and TakeProfitTrader profiles technically remain available in the settings matrix, Take Profit Trader strictly prohibits automated trading bots.
This zero-tolerance policy applies across all Evaluation (Test) and funded (PRO/PRO+) accounts. If their risk desk detects Gideon executing your trades, your account will be immediately liquidated and banned without a payout. We strongly advise routing your automated Gideon trading exclusively through bot-friendly firms like Bulenox, Tradeify, MyFundedFutures, or Topstep.
