Gideon V5.5 Parameters Sheet

The Gideon V5.5 execution engine for the NinjaTrader 8 platform allows users to define custom input parameters that can be changed during live trading or backtesting.

Risk Manager Settings

• Funding Firm & Account Tier: Calibrate the system for evaluation parameters (e.g., TakeProfitTrader, ApexFunding, Topstep) or live capital across standardized 25K to 150K tiers.

• Account Phase: Toggle between Evaluation mode (calculating risk strictly against the live trailing drawdown buffer) and ProFunded mode (utilizing live account equity for scaling).

• Risk Profile: Select from FiveDayPace, SmartScaling, MaxPower, or the PercentRisk setting (which dynamically sizes contracts tick-by-tick based on the structural stop-loss distance).

• Consistency & Daily Loss Caps: Set specific percentage limits to trigger the automated kill switch and mechanically protect the funding firm's maximum drawdown rules.

Execution Control

• 1R Dynamic Step-Trail: Automates stop-loss adjustments, immediately snapping to breakeven at a 1:1 risk-to-reward ratio and ratcheting profits mechanically as the trend continues.

• Dynamic Stop Buffer & Max Stop Loss: Defines the exact tick offset to securely tuck stops behind structural pivots while enforcing a hard ceiling on total allowable risk per trade.

• Order Expiration & Cooldown: Automatically cancels stale entry brackets after three bars to prevent ghost fills during market reversals, and enforces a mandatory pause between executions.

Structural Levels & IOTS Variables

• Value Area Parameters: Input daily VAH and VAL coordinates to establish high-probability fade boundaries and identify true breakout zones.

• Trend EMA Period: Defines the moving average (defaulted to 21) utilized for internal 30% Dead Zone calculations and open-air trend continuation logic.

• Candlestick Stem Theory: The Doji Body % Max setting filters out indecision, ensuring the IOTS trading system only executes on undeniable momentum or humongous rejection stems.

System Operations

• Operating Filters: The Zone Restriction parameter mathematically ensures the algorithm ignores setups that occur too close to major structure, waiting for clean air.

• Discord Webhook URL: Seamlessly connects the algorithm to your community server to push real-time execution data, position sizing, and session PnL alerts directly to Titan Trading FinTech LLC clients.
