Gideon V5.5 Core Specification Document

1. Execution Engine (The 3 Pillars) Gideon V5.5 abandons loose momentum chasing and restricts algorithmic execution entirely to three mathematically defined Price Action Trading (PATs) and Auction Market Theory (AMT) setups.

• The Wifey (Reversals & Fades): Triggers strictly on a Green-Red-Green (Long) or Red-Green-Red (Short) pattern. It only fires in two locations: fading the extreme inside boundary of the Value Area High/Low (outside the 30% Dead Zone), or reversing a mathematically completed macro-cycle at the 21 EMA.

• True Breakout Retest: Triggers when price breaks outside the VAH or VAL and pulls back to test the boundary. Requires a Wifey pattern or a structural pivot (Higher Low / Lower High confirmation) and a strong signal candle to fire.

• Two Times The Charm (2nd Entry): Requires a verified micro-trend (3+ candles on one side of the EMA). Tracks exactly two distinct pullback legs against the trend, firing when the second leg fails at the 21 EMA with a strong signal candle.

2. Candlestick Stem Theory The engine no longer requires a 75% solid body candle to execute a trade. It identifies "humongous stems" (rejection wicks closing in the top/bottom 30% of the candle range) as valid triggers, capturing big-money rejection at key levels while ignoring dud candles.

3. Dynamic Percent Risk Sizing Contracts are dynamically calculated tick-by-tick based on the distance to the structural stop loss, ensuring no trade exceeds the chosen percentage risk.

• Evaluation Mode: Calculates the risk percentage strictly against the live trailing drawdown buffer (e.g., 2% of a $3,000 drawdown), ignoring the nominal $50k or $150k account balance.

• ProFunded Mode: Reroutes the risk percentage to calculate against the live Account Equity.

• Safety Ceiling: Sizing will never exceed the maximum contract limit of the selected prop firm tier.

4. Structural Memory & Amnesia Fix Gideon utilizes a 10-bar lookback to remember deep pullbacks, shakeouts, and false breakouts at the VAH/VAL boundaries. The swing-leg counter requires two full consecutive closes against the trend to reset, curing the "amnesia" bug that previously caused the bot to miss trades if a pullback wick temporarily pierced the 21 EMA.

5. System Safeguards

• Rogue Catcher Protocol: Background scanner that detects broker latency. If a delayed ghost order fills after Gideon has locked down for the day, the engine instantly market-closes the position to protect the account.

• 1R Dynamic Step-Trail: Automatically snaps the stop loss to Breakeven (+1 tick) at 1R profit, and mechanically trails profit (locking in +2R at 3R, etc.).

• 3-Bar Order Expiration: Prevents the engine from holding stale entry brackets during fast market reversals.
