Titan Trading FinTech: PropFirm Gideon V4.0
System Overview & Execution Mechanics
PropFirm Gideon V4 is the most precise iteration of the Omni-Engine to date. Built entirely around structural price action and Auction Market Theory (AMT), V4 strips away the noise and focuses strictly on "A+" setups.
The core philosophy of V4 is Structural Precision. Instead of using static stop-loss distances or taking trades based on generic momentum, Gideon V4 relies on verified, multi-legged pullbacks and dynamically hides its risk behind exact structural walls.
Below is a complete breakdown of the engine's mechanics and the exact setups it executes.
1. The 5 Core Execution Triggers
Gideon V4 has been stripped down and re-engineered to only fire on 5 hyper-specific setups. It merges standard trend-following (IOTS) with advanced Value Area mechanics.
Setup 1: IOTS 2nd Entry (Trend Continuation)
- Where it happens: In "clean air" away from the Value Area extremes, resting on the 21 EMA.
- The Trigger: Price makes exactly 1 or 2 distinct pullback attempts against the trend, touches the 21 EMA, and closes as a strong structural candle with the trend.
Setup 2: Wifey 21 EMA (Sequence Pullbacks)
- Where it happens: In "clean air" away from the Value Area extremes, resting on the 21 EMA.
- The Trigger: A strict 3-candle sequence pullback. For longs, it requires an Up-Down-Up (Green-Red-Green) sequence bouncing off the EMA. For shorts, a Down-Up-Down (Red-Green-Red) sequence.
Setup 3: The Range Principle (AMT Range Fades)
- Where it happens: Entirely inside the Value Area.
- The Trigger: Price rotates from the center of value and pushes to within 5 points of the Value Area High (VAH) or Value Area Low (VAL). Because the market is in balance, Gideon waits for a Pure Higher Low (at VAL) or Pure Lower High (at VAH) to confirm rejection, fading the price back across the range.
Setup 4: The Reversal Principle (The 80% Rule)
- Where it happens: Testing the Value Area boundaries from the inside after a failed breakout.
- The Trigger: Gideon memorizes the last 15 bars. If price breaks outside the Value Area, fails to find acceptance, and breaks back inside, the 80% Rule is activated. Price will pull back to test the VAH/VAL from the inside. Once price comes within 5 points of the boundary and forms a Pure Higher Low / Lower High, Gideon enters to target the opposite end of the Value Area.
Setup 5: AMT Breakout Pullbacks (Continuation Principle)
- Where it happens: Testing the Value Area boundaries from the outside after a successful breakout.
- The Trigger: Price breaks outside of value, establishing a new trend. It then pulls back to test the boundary from the outside. Gideon will accept a Pure HL/LH, a 2nd Entry, or a Wifey sequence bouncing off the exterior of the VAH/VAL to catch the massive trend continuation.
2. The Dynamic Structural Stop Loss
V4 eliminates the vulnerability of hardcoded, static tick stops. It features a Unified 10-Bar Structural Scanner.
- How it works: Whenever Gideon identifies a valid setup and prepares to fire, the engine scans the previous 10 bars to locate the absolute lowest point (for longs) or highest point (for shorts) of the active pullback.
- The Buffer: It then injects a Dynamic Stop Loss exactly 2 Ticks (customizable via the
Dynamic Stop Bufferinput) beyond that structural extreme. - The Benefit: Your stop loss is mathematically hidden behind the structural wall. If the trade fails, the structure is broken, meaning you should be out of the trade anyway.
3. The 10-Point Zone Restriction Engine
To prevent Gideon from taking standard trend trades directly into major structural resistance, V4 uses a proximity barrier.
- How it works: When price enters within 10 points of the Value Area High or Value Area Low, Gideon automatically disables Setup 1 (IOTS 2nd Entries) and Setup 2 (Wifey 21 EMA).
- The Result: In these critical zones, Gideon becomes an AMT purist. It will only execute Breakout Continuations, Range Fades, or 80% Reversals, ensuring you never buy directly into the bottom of the VAH or sell into the top of the VAL.
4. The Runner Strategy & Named Auto-Breakeven
Gideon V4 leverages a highly advanced NinjaTrader 8 bracket override system to lock in risk-free runners.
- Memory Bank: When Gideon enters a trade, it memorizes the exact setup name (e.g., "AMT Breakout Pullback @ VAH").
- The Lock-In: Once the trade hits the Runner Trigger (e.g., +12 ticks / 3 points), Gideon overrides the Dynamic Structural Stop Loss. It specifically targets the named active order and moves the stop loss into pure profit (e.g., locking in +9 ticks / 2.25 points).
- The Result: The risk is entirely removed from the table, allowing the remaining position to run infinitely until the market takes it out in profit.
